Being a vegetarian.
I become a vegetarian some years ago and must admit it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Switching from eating meat to only plant based foods was very easy for me.
Adding nuts and legumes was an adventurous step. It didn’t take long at all for me to get used to adding these types of food as my protein intake.
The number of recipes which incorporate only vegetable based foods is vast.
In fact there are numerous ethnic cuisines which have their basis in vegetarianism for example Indian food and many Italian dishes.
There is still some idea that vegetarianism is ‘out there’ when in fact it makes much more sense for all of us, to eat less meat. It is healthier and much better for our planet.
I can honestly say that I have never had so many tasty and nutritious meals since I changed my diet to vegetarian.
I will never go back to eating meat.
